Innocence Project
From lawbrain.com
The Innocence Project was founded in 1992 by Barry Scheck and Peter Neufeld at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. It's goal is to assist prisoners who could be proven innocent through DNA testing.
So far, over 250 prisoners have been set free, including 17 on death row.
There are plenty more people sitting in the jails and prisons who are innocent of crimes they didn't commit. In there because a prosecutor want's to make a name for themselves or get the promotion they are looking for. DNA isn't always used in allot of crimes so other ways should be introduced to show the maliciousness on the part of the prosecutors.
