Sale of Goods

The sale of goods in the United States is governed by the Uniform Commercial Code ("UCC"). Article II of the UCC specifically defines goods and outlines what the rules are and how they apply to transactions.

There are also special rules that appply to Merchants. The code defines Merchants as a person that deals in goods of the kind and of having knowledge of the goods involved in the transaction.
