Dividing  EU and Non-EU Privacy Laws

The decision to create a new page for European Union (EU) privacy laws away from the main Europe privacy page was twofold: space and significant difference in approach to enforcement of the law.  First, the page for Europe privacy law would be extremely long if every European country was added.  There is the hope that these country sections will be further extended with additional knowledge about the laws lists for each. Second, countries that are members of the EU must apply those requirements made by the EU Commission with regard to their own individual laws.  Non-EU members can decide what is best for their own country without outside influence.
