The Education Category includes topics surrounding education law, primary, secondary, post-secondary education, issues for students at school, financing of education, prominent cases in education law, and other topics related to teaching and learning.

Education law spans the broad body of law and legislation that address issues of legal framework for educational institutions. Two initial categories of education law are: (1) laws written for schools; and (2) laws pertaining to the general public. Major issues in education law include separation of church and state, free speech in the the student context, searches pertaining to students, gender equality in school programming, education of disabled students, censorship of instructional materials, and decisions surrounding curriculum choices.
